--Hargray sponsors Mobile Mammogram Unit for Employees of The Children’s Center--

Hilton Head Island, S.C., October 25, 2011 – Hargray and the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center joined forces to sponsor a visit from MUSC’s Mobile Mammogram Unit to The Children’s Center on Hilton Head Island. More than 25 staff members from The Children’s Center received mammograms at no cost, and staff members were treated to breakfast and lunch on Hargray, who also provided snacks for over 160 children.

For the dedicated staff of The Children’s Center, the otherwise normal workday offered a potentially life-saving gift. Hargray Director of Marketing, Eddie Andrews, commented, "Hargray is very active in the community, and having the mobile mammogram unit here at The Children’s Center enables us to help raise awareness for the disease as well as promote the significance of early detection."
