--Hargray sponsors gala and golf to benefit The Children’s Hospital at Memorial Health--                                                    

Savannah, GA, November 4-5, 2011 – Hargray sponsored two events supporting the Children’s Hospital at Memorial Health in Savannah this weekend as a part of the company’s extensive support of the Lowcountry and the Coastal Empire.

On Friday, November 4^th The One Hundred hosted the 16^th Annual Black Bear Tie Gala to support Memorial Health Foundation and The Children’s Hospital. This event, held at The Plantation Club in Savannah, featured an elegant sit-down dinner, live music, both silent and live auctions, and the opportunity to purchase The One Hundred’s signature themed dressed bears. In addition to sponsoring the event, Hargray employees also bid on a number gifts from local businesses that will be auctioned on Hargray’s Facebook page.

Hargray employees showed up again on Saturday, November 5^th to compete in the 7^th Annual Cupid’s Arrow Golf Classic, of which Hargray was also a major sponsor. The tournament, held at at Oldfield Golf Club in Okatie, SC, honored young John A. Kolbush, who passed away from non-Hodgkins Lymphoma at the age of six. His parents, Mark and Janet Kolbush, hold this annual tournament to raise fund for families whose children are hospitalized at Memorial.
