Hilton Head, S.C., December 2^nd – 4^th, 2011 – Hargray is the presenting sponsor of A Night on the Town and Main Street Beaufort, part of Downtown Beaufort’s Holiday Weekend. Friday evening, December 2^nd, features the lighting of the Beaufort Christmas tree, and local businesses stay open late to support the event. Entertainment is provided by local choirs, dance groups and clubs. Santa will be present, and the Parris Island Marine Corps Band will perform following the official lighting of the tree. Saturday evening features the “Light Up the Night” boat parade in the Beaufort River along the waterfront. The Beaufort Sail &Power Squadron and Main Street Beaufort usher in the holiday season with the popular annual procession of decorated boats. The weekend comes to a close with the popular Beaufort City Christmas Parade, beginning at 3:00 in the afternoon.
