Customer Proprietary Network InformationHargray has a duty to protect the confidentiality of your proprietary network information. This information includes all of your call details, the identity of your long distance provider, the volume of calls you make, the amounts you have been billed by your long distance provider, the phone numbers you call and that call you, the duration of your calls, and the services you have purchased from Hargray. The FCC has initiated new safeguards to help protect this proprietary information. Customers are now required to set up a password to be used before proprietary information can be discussed on a phone call. To read the full ruling, click here [PDF]. Residential: English - Spanish Exchanges in local calling area: English/Spanish Bill MessageFor customers whose telephone service is part of a Hargray bundle, the county-mandated E911 and the federal American with Disabilities Act require that Telecommunications Relay surcharges be line items on your bill, effective July 1, 2009. Explanations of these charges appear on page 2 of your bill. Each county sets its E911 surcharge rate, which is used to provide ongoing maintenance of the emergency system. Each state sets its Telecommunications Relay surcharge. |
